“Being a Boy Scout is a rite of passage for so many boys because of the life lessons they learn. With this new after school program [called] STEM scouts, they can learn a thing or two about science and girls can get involved too.
The acronym STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and math. This program is being offered in specific communities in Connecticut through the 2015-16 school year and is available for boys and girls in grades three through 12.”
